He must have extra time it says, but they cannot specify it must be silent because the other children will have finished. I don’t understand why they can’t be given follow on silent work or be dismissed, but then I never trained as a teacher so why would I?
He cannot have his own written task instructions to keep as a reminder once they have been given, they said. The teachers will call his name and get him to repeat the instruction instead. I don’t think that will work but how can I be sure if I don’t have QTS?
Slides in google classroom cannot reliably be provided a day in advance for him to print the instructions himself as this creates workload, they said. I considered that this would reduce workload by enabling access for those who benefit from pre-learning, but how can I know how schools work just because I once went to one?
I now can’t see any benefit to an IEP.
But I am not a teacher, so why would I?
